Arabic vocabulary
How to say “his station” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
أَمَا نَالَ لِلرَّجُلِ أَنْ يَعْلَمَ مَنْزِلَهُ فَأَقَامَهُ،
Could the man not have known his station and remained there?
مَنْزِلَهُ — his station. A noun with the attached 'his' fused on, so the possessor rides on the word. It is what would be known — the object of the knowing-verb, its ending in the object case.
