How to say “I completed” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
حَتَّى قَضَيْتُ بِهَا الْمَنَاسِكَ،
Until I completed the pilgrimage rites with her,
قَضَيْتُ — I completed. A past-tense verb with the ending -tu, which simultaneously sets it in the past and names 'I' as the doer; no separate 'I' is needed. This is the action that 'until' was building toward — the point of arrival. Its first-person ending keeps the personal voice running through the account.
