لَبَذَلْتُ — I would have devoted. A past verb 'devoted/spent' carrying a prefixed emphatic 'surely', which is the answering signal that the counterfactual's payoff begins — 'then I would surely have devoted'. The prefix marks the result clause and adds emphatic colour.
