قَالَ وَاللَّهِ مَا أَعْطَيْتُكَ إِلَّا مَا وَرَثْتُهُ
He said, "By God, I gave you nothing except what I inherited."
أَعْطَيْتُكَ — I gave you. A past-tense verb with a first-person 'I' subject and an attached 'you' object, 'I gave you'. One word holds doer, action, and recipient; sitting under the negation it means 'I did not give you'.
