How to say “I prevent” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
أَمْنَعُكِ بِهَا مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ
I will prevent you by it from the charity.
أَمْنَعُكِ — I will prevent you. A present-tense verb, 'I prevent/bar', with its first-person 'I' subject inside and a feminine 'you' object fused on the end. So one word holds the actor, the act, and the person acted on; the female listener is the one being barred.
