How to say “I turn back” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْهِ أَنِيبُ
I put my trust in Him and turn back to Him in repentance.
أَنِيبُ — I turn back. A present-tense verb whose initial vowel marks 'I' as the doer, expressing the speaker's turning back in repentance. It completes the fronted 'to Him' before it, so the verb and the front-shifted preposition together fix the return wholly upon God.
