Arabic vocabulary
How to say “I will certainly be” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَلَأَكُوْنَّ مَعَهُ يَوْمِي هَذَا قَالَ فَجَاءَ الْمَسْجِدُ،
So I said, 'I will certainly be with him this day.' Then I went to the mosque.
وَلأَكُونَنَّ — and I will certainly be. The wa- ('and') opens it, then an emphasis-'la' and a heavy 'definitely' ending bracket the verb into a firm vow, 'and I will certainly be'. The bracketing emphasis is Arabic's strong oath marker.
