فرب لذة عاجلة تكون سببًا لعذاب آجل،
For, a momentary pleasure might cause future torment,
عَاجِلَةٍ — momentary. An adjective describing the pleasure as fleeting, matching it in being indefinite and in taking the same possessive-case ending forced by the 'many a' particle. Arabic adjectives follow their noun and copy its case, definiteness, and gender.
