How to say “in contrast to” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَلِهَذَا كَانَ عُنْوَانُ التَّوْحِيدِ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ بِخِلَافِ مَنْ يُقِرُّ بِرُبُوبِيَّتِهِ
For this reason, the title of monotheism is "There is no god but Allah", in contrast to one who merely acknowledges His lordship.
بِخِلَاف — in contrast to. The preposition 'in/with' fused to a noun, forming 'in contrast to'. It introduces a contrasting case and governs the relative phrase after it into the genitive, setting the believer against the one merely acknowledging lordship.
