Arabic vocabulary
How to say “inner parts” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَتَمَسَّكُوا بِأَعْجَازٍ لَا صُدُورَ لَهَا،
And they clung to outward things that had no inner substance.
صُدُورَ — inner parts. A plural noun, 'inner cores', and the thing the absolute negator denies; its ending fits that 'no X' construction. Figuratively it stands for the inward substance the outer husks lack. The whole clause means these things had no inside to them.
