How to say “it displeases me” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
لَمْ آمُرْ بِهَا وَلَمْ تَسُؤْنِي،
I did not command it, nor did it displease me.
تَسُؤْنِي — it displeases me. A present-form verb 'grieve/displease' with a '-ni' tail attaching 'me' as the one affected, clipped into its cut-short shape by the negation, so 'it did not displease me'. The attached object pronoun names who it would have grieved.
