How to say “its price” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
قَالَ خُذْ جَمَلَكَ وَلَكَ ثَمَنُهُ
He said, "Take your camel, and for you is its price."
ثَمَنُهُ — its price. This noun ends in an attached -hu ('its') pointing back to the camel, so the owner is fused onto it. In the 'for you is ___' frame it is the predicate, the thing granted, and takes the nominative ending; the possessor tracks back to the camel, not the listener.
