How to say “knower” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَأَنَّهُ الْعَارِفَ بِدَقَائِقِ الشَّرْعِ وَحَقَائِقِ التَّنْزِيلِ،
and that he knew the subtle details of the law and the realities of the revelation,
الْعَارِفَ — the knower. Carries al- ('the') and is an active participle 'the knower', the predicate of the 'that he ...' clause — what he is said to be. Built from a verb, it names an ongoing quality of knowing. After the emphatic 'that' it appears with the object ending forced by that particle.
