How to say “leading him” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَيَسْتَأْسِرُهُ وَيَتَمَكَّنُ مِنْ قِيَادِهِ
So he wins him over and becomes able to lead him.
قِيَادِهِ — leading him. This is a verbal noun (a noun naming the action 'leading') carrying an attached '-him' at its end, and governed by the preceding 'of' it sits in the (genitive). The '-him' points to the fool being led. So it reads 'of leading him', the mastery the devil attains.
