Arabic vocabulary
How to say “leave” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
تركها من حسن إسلام العبد،
Leaving them is part of a person’s good Islam,
تَرْكُهَا — leaving them. This is a verbal noun ('leaving / abandoning') with an attached '-ha' that serves as its object — 'leaving them'. So a single word turns the act of leaving into a thing AND names what is left. It is the nominative subject of the sentence to come.
