نَحْنُ أَوْلِيَاءُكُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ
We are your protectors in this worldly life and in the Hereafter.
الْحَيَاةِ — the life. A definite noun in the genitive after 'in', and it heads a pairing with the descriptive word that follows ('the worldly life'). Its definiteness and case come from the preposition before it, and it names the first sphere of the protection.
