Arabic vocabulary
How to say “look” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَقَالَ يَا أَصْبِيَّةُ اُخْرُجِي اُنْظُرِي مِنْ هَذَا
He said, "O maid, come out and see who this is."
اُنْظُرِي — look. A second feminine-singular command, 'look', addressed to the same maid. Its matching feminine ending keeps it parallel to the previous order, stacking two instructions to her.
