Arabic vocabulary
تَضِلُّ is how you say “lose way” in Arabic. Hear it pronounced and see it used in a real example sentence from classical texts below.
تمشي كثيرًا وتضلُّ قليلًا في كل خطوة
You walk much yet stray a little with every step.
وَتَضِلُّ — and lose your way. 'and you stray / lose the way,' joined by 'and' — the flip side of the much walking. Without a compass, all that motion only sends you off course, measured by 'a little [each step]' next.
