How to say “man” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَاِعْلَمْ لِي عِلْمَ هَذَا الْرَّجُلِ
Find out for me about this man.
الْرَّجُلِ — the man. Carries the attached 'the', marking a specific man, and stands as the owner-half of 'the news of this man', so its ending takes the possessor case. Sitting directly after the first noun with no word for 'of' is how the pairing is built.
