How to say “meeting” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
همة من استعد صَاحبهَا للقاء الحبيب
It is the aspiration of one who has prepared himself for the meeting with the beloved.
لِلِقَاءِ — for the meeting. 'Li-' (for) fused with a verbal noun 'meeting', first term of an 'of' pairing — 'for meeting the Beloved'; it governs the genitive. The 'li-' marks what he readied himself for; it owns the noun that follows.
