How to say “milk” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وهذه الآية الدالة على قدرة الخالق سبحانه نظير إخراجه اللبن الخالص من بين الفرث والدم
And this verse, which indicates the power of the Creator, glorified is He, is like His bringing forth pure milk from between filth and blood.
اللَّبَنَ — milk. Even though the action is named by a verbal noun, that noun still takes an object, and this is it: the milk, in the accusative object ending. Arabic lets an action-noun govern an object just like a real verb would.
