How to say “molars” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَجَعَلَ يَضْحَكُ حَتَّى بَدَتْ نَواجِذُهُ
Then he began to laugh until his molars showed.
نَواجِذُهُ — his molars. This is a plural noun carrying an owner-ending 'his', so one word equals 'his back teeth', and it is the doer of 'appeared'. The non-human plural is why the verb before it took a feminine singular shape. The attached possessor ties the teeth to the one laughing.
