How to say “most need” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَأَمّا الَّتِي هِيَ لَك فعملك أجازيك بِهِ أحْوج مَا تكون إِلَيْهِ
And as for the one that is for you, it is your deeds for which I will recompense you when you need it most.
أَحْوَجَ — when you need it most. This is a comparative-superlative shape meaning 'most in need', the form Arabic builds on a root to carry 'most' inside the word. Its accusative ending attaches it as the circumstance, telling when the reward comes, 'when you are neediest'.
