How to say “Muhajir” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَتَجَهَّزَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُهَاجِرًا،
And Abu Bakr prepared to emigrate.
مُهَاجِرًا — emigrating. An adjective-like form used adverbially to set the circumstance, 'as one emigrating / intending to emigrate'; the -an accusative is what flags it as a state-clause rather than a plain noun. It tells the manner in which Abu Bakr made ready, alongside the verb 'prepared'.
