Arabic vocabulary
How to say “obedience” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَإِنَّ الْطَّاعَةَ لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ وَالإِرْضَاءُ لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ
So indeed, obedience is to God and to His Messenger, and pleasing is to God and to His Messenger.
الطَّاعَةَ — the obedience. The al- makes this 'the obedience' specific, and it wears the accusative ending because the emphatic particle before it governs its subject into that case. So its ending is not a direct-object marker but the signature of standing as the topic of an emphatic 'indeed' clause.
