How to say “occurs” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فإنه إن صح ذلك فقد يقع مثله اتفاقًا،
For if that is true, then a similar occurrence might happen by coincidence,
يَقَعُ — might happen. A present-tense verb, 'it happens / occurs', with its subject carried inside. The emphasis word just before it colours it as 'may well happen', framing the result of the condition as a real possibility.
