Arabic vocabulary
How to say “opinions” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وإن رجي إسلامه فوجهان
And if his conversion to Islam is anticipated, there are two opinions.
فَوَجْهَانِ — so two opinions. The 'fa-' gives the result, and the noun carries the dual ending '-ani' — Arabic's dedicated 'exactly two' form, folded into the word rather than added as a separate 'two.' So: there are two scholarly views on the matter.
