How to say “overcoming of” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَلاَ أَقُولُ كَيْفَ تَغَلُّبِ حَلَاوَةٍ اللَّذَّاتِ؟
Nor will I say, "How did the sweetness of pleasures prevail?!"
تَغَلُّبِ — overcoming of. An action-noun ('the prevailing-over') that heads an 'of' pairing with the next word ('the prevailing OF sweetness'). As the subject of the rhetorical 'how' question and the first half of the pairing, it links to what follows as the thing wondered at.
