Arabic vocabulary
How to say “play with you” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
قَالَ أَفْلَا جَارِيَةً تُلاَعِبُهَا وَتُلاَعِبُكَ
He said, "Why not a slave-girl who will play with her and with you?"
وَتُلاَعِبُكَ — and play with you. The opening wa- ('and') joins this to the matching verb before it, and an attached -ka ('you', male) is now the object instead of 'her'. So the pair lines up two parallel actions, swapping who is played with from 'her' to 'you'.
