Arabic vocabulary
How to say “reaches it” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَالْكِتَابُ يَبْلُغُ مَا لَا يَبْلُغُهُ الْخِطَابُ،
So the book reaches what speech does not reach.
يَبْلُغُهُ — reaches it. A present-tense verb with a tag on its end standing for the thing reached — so one word holds the doer, the action, and its object together. The verb is the one denied by the 'not' before it; the attached object points back to the same 'what' the book does reach.
