Arabic vocabulary
How to say “the book” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَالْكِتَابُ يَبْلُغُ مَا لَا يَبْلُغُهُ الْخِطَابُ،
So the book reaches what speech does not reach.
فَالْكُتَّابَ — so the book. This fuses a result-connector 'so' onto a definite noun: the connector draws a conclusion from the prior point, while the noun is the doer of the sentence. The connector signals 'and therefore', tying this claim to the argument that the book outlasts speech, before naming the book as subject.
