How to say “rider” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
بينا تجري براكبها عثرت به أي عثار،
While it runs with its rider, it stumbles with him — what a stumble!
بِرَاكِبِهَا — with its rider. The 'with' prefix is a preposition forcing the genitive on the noun, which itself carries an attached feminine 'its', pointing back to the horse. So the one word bundles preposition, noun, and possessor, meaning 'with its rider', and the suffix tracks the horse as the owner.
