How to say “so I entered” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
كَانَ لِي إِلَيْهِ ذَنْبٌ فَدَخَلْتُ مُسْلِمًا عَلَيْهِ،
I had an offense to him, so I entered submitting myself to him.
فَدَخَلْتُ — so I entered. This verb is fronted by an attached 'so/then' marking consequence, with its first-person 'I' built into the past form by its ending. The joined particle ties the entering to the situation just described. The verb's ending is what fixes the 'I'.
