How to say “so O” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَيَا مَنْ كُلِّ لَحْظَةٍ إِلَى هَذَا يَسْرِي،
O you who experience this every moment,
فَيَا — so O. Two pieces fuse: fa- ('so'), drawing the address out of the foregoing reflection, and the call-marker 'O' that flags direct address. Together they turn to face the listener, 'so O you...', opening the long vocative that runs through the line. The fa- marks the turn as a consequence of all that was said.
