How to say “so proved true” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَصَدَّقَ عَلَيْهِمْ إِبْلِيسُ ظَنُّهُ فَاتَّبَعُوهُ
So Satan's suspicion about them proved true, and they followed him.
فَصَدَّقَ — so proved true. This token fronts a 'so/then' result-connector on a past verb in a derived pattern, 'so it proved true'. The 'so' marks this as the consequence of all that preceded. The verb's subject comes later in the sentence, the standard verb-before-subject order.
