How to say “sovereignty” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
الحمد لله المتفرد بالملك ولا شريك،
Praise be to Allah, the One who possesses sovereignty with no partner.
بِالمِلْكِ — in the sovereignty. A 'with/in' preposition is fused to the front, marking the respect in which He is unique, and it forces the noun into the 'of' ending. The 'the' makes sovereignty definite, framing it as the domain of His uniqueness.
