How to say “straight path” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
الَّذِي هُوَ جَادَةُ الاِسْتِقَامَةِ، وَلُقَمُ السَّلَامَةِ
which is the straight path of uprightness, and a small portion of safety.
جَادَةُ — the straight path. A noun standing as the first half of an 'of' pairing with the word that follows, so it counts as specific even without its own 'the'. Set directly beside its owner with no separate 'of', it draws its definiteness from that owner, building 'the straight path of...'.
