How to say “strike” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فإن جاء آخر ينازعه، فاضربوا عنق الآخر
If another comes to dispute him, strike the neck of the latter.
فَاضْرِبُوا — then strike. This is fa- (so/then) with a command-form verb addressed to a group, 'then strike', the plural 'you all' built into its ending. This is a direct plural command; the fa- ties it as the response to the condition just set.
