وَالْخَيْلُ الْمَوْسُومَةُ وَالْأَنْعَامُ وَالْحَرْثَ فَلِلشَّهَوَاتِ حِيْلَةٍ غِيَارٍ،
And the branded horses, the livestock, and the cultivated fields — desires have a deceitful device for substitution.
غِيَارٍ — of substitution,. An indefinite noun describing the stratagem before it — 'of substitution / for swapping' — sitting in the genitive as the owner in a possessive link. Arabic can pin down what kind of thing a noun is by setting another noun behind it in this 'of' relationship. It specifies the trick's nature: replacement.
