Arabic vocabulary
How to say “sweetness of” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَمَنْ خُفِّيَ عُقُوبَاتُهُمْ سَلْبُ حَلَاوَةِ الْمُنَاجَاةِ،
And among their hidden punishments is the deprivation of the sweetness of private supplication.
حَلَاوَةِ — sweetness of. This noun is the owned middle link of a stacked possessive chain: it takes the 'of' (genitive) ending from the word before it, and in turn owns the noun after it. So it reads 'sweetness of...', passing the chain along to whatever is sweet.
