And I testified for him; I came to him with whatever occurred.
وَشَهِدْتُهُ — and I testified for him. A wa- opening a linked clause on a past 'I bore witness / attended' with '-tu' for 'I' and a single 'him' object fused on; the wa- joins statements, and one word carries doer, action, and object.
