How to say “the disbeliever” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَفِي أَشْهَادِهَا وَفِي مَعْرِفَتِهَا الْمُؤْمِنُ وَالْكَافِرُ وَالْبَرُّ وَالْفَاجِرُ
And in its witnesses and in its knowledge are the believer and the disbeliever, the righteous and the wicked.
وَالْكَافِرُ — and the disbeliever. Here the 'and' links one item of a list to the next, the disbeliever joined to the believer. Its job in this sentence is purely to coordinate parallel nouns, building up the run of contrasted people.
