وَأَقَلُّ مِحْنَةِ الْكَبِيرِ أَنْ تَقَعَ النَّوَاةُ فِي الْكُوزِ،
And the least trial of the elder is that the pit falls into the jug.
الْكُوزِ — the jug. The definite object of 'in', hence genitive after that relator. With 'al-' it names the specific vessel, the jug, into which the pit is supposed to fall, closing the 'that' clause.
