After him came the assembly of the sheikh, the jurist, the Unique Imam.
الفَقِيهِ — the jurist. A scholarly title 'the jurist', standing in apposition to the preceding 'sheikh', describing the same man. It matches in definiteness (carrying al-) and the genitive case, continuing the chain of honorifics. Apposition is how Arabic stacks epithets onto one person.
