قَالَ الْحَقُّ وَمَضَى فَتَبِعْتُهُ،
He spoke the truth and departed, so I followed him.
الْحَقُّ — the truth. The noun 'the truth', made definite by 'the', here the object of 'spoke', so it is in the object form. It names what was spoken. The doubled final consonant is part of the noun, marked by the cluster sign on it.
