Arabic vocabulary
How to say “their desire” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَإِنْ وَافَقَ الشَّرْعُ مُرَّادَهُمْ فَبِهَا،
If the Sharia agreed with their desire, then so be it,
مُرَّادَهُمْ — their desire. A noun with a 'their' suffix attached, so it carries both 'desire' and its owners in one word. It is the thing the Sharia is imagined agreeing with, sitting in the object-style ending as the target within the clause. The suffix points back to the people whose whims are under discussion.
