وينسى ما يلحقه من الأمراض والأسقام، وما يعتريه من الكبر والهرم،
And forgets what afflicts him of diseases and ailments, and what befalls him of old age and senility,
يُلْحِقُهُ — afflicts him. A present-tense verb with an attached 'him' as its object, inside the 'what' clause: what reaches him. The verb carries its own subject, and the suffix marks the man as the one it befalls.
