And whoever knows their beginnings is safe from the burden of their endings.
أَمِنَ — is safe. Past-tense verb 'amina' = 'he became safe, secure'; subject 'he' is built in.

and feels secure therein from falsehood, lying, immorality, and injustice.
وَأَمِنَ — and he feels secure. 'And' plus a past-tense verb 'was safe / secure', subject 'he' inside — a second result of keeping such company. It says the companion is kept safe.
