How to say “to guide” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
مَا يَدُلُّكَ عَلَى آثَارِهِمْ
what guides you to their traces.
يَدُلُّكَ — he guides you. A present-tense verb whose 'ya-' prefix carries a 'he/it' subject, with '-ka' attached as its object, so one word means 'it guides you'. The doubled middle consonant is part of this verb's pattern; the suffix marks the listener as the one guided.
