How to say “traces” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
مَا يَدُلُّكَ عَلَى آثَارِهِمْ
what guides you to their traces.
آثَارِهِمْ — their traces. A plural noun closed by '-hum' (their), the possessor fixed to its end, sitting in the form the preposition before it requires. The suffix points back to the figures under discussion, so 'their traces' is what the guidance leads toward, the 'their' carried inside the noun.
